Why do I need ImageKit.io? ☁️

Pinalofy is the "engine" that creates your Pins, but ImageKit.io is the "storage" where those Pins live.

Pinterest requires a public direct link to an image to publish it. By connecting ImageKit, Pinalofy automatically uploads every Pin you generate to your private cloud and creates the professional links that Pinterest needs.

1. The Free Tier is Enough
You can use the ImageKit Free Plan (3GB DAM storage). It offers enough storage and bandwidth to host thousands of Pins for free. You don't need a paid subscription to start.

2. Independent Workspaces
One of Pinalofy's strongest features is its multi-tenant architecture.
Each Workspace has its own ImageKit configuration.

If you manage multiple clients or niche blogs, you can connect a different ImageKit account to each Workspace to keep your assets completely separated and organized.

3. Essential for both Scheduler & CSV
Whether you use the Standard App Scheduler or the CSV Export method, ImageKit is mandatory.

  1. For Scheduler: The app sends the ImageKit link directly to Pinterest.
  2. For CSV: Pinalofy fills your CSV file with ImageKit URLs, making the Pinterest Bulk Upload tool work perfectly.

🛠️ How to get your API Keys (Step-by-Step)

Sign up: Create a free account at ImageKit.io

Find Developer Options: In the bottom-left corner of the ImageKit dashboard, click on the "Developer Options" icon (the gear).

    You will see three fields:

    1. URL Endpoint
    2. Public Key
    3. Private Key

Paste into Pinalofy: Go to Settings > Workspaces > Media & Storage in Pinalofy and paste the codes.

Important: Never share your Private Key with anyone. Pinalofy encrypts this data for your safety.
